400 CYCLISTS SET TO JOIN GIRO D' LUCA

CEBU, Philippines - The annual staging of Giro d’ Luca just got bigger as 400 cyclists are set to participate and ride around Bohol from May 26 to 31.

Organizer Gianluca Guidicelli teamed up with MotorAce and Kawasaki to stage this event that will aims to help in the preparation for the local cyclists and triathletes.
Foreign riders coming from Hong Kong, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia and United States have expressed their interest in joining the event.
In a press conference yesterday at the Ssangyong Cebu, Guidicelli said that they are working hand in hand with the Bohol Provincial government to ensure the security of the participants.
  “We had an overwhelming support so we are continuing this event. This year, we expect people to have fun and have a memorable experience,” said Guidicelli.
The first day covers a total of 200 kilometers from Bellevue Hotel in Panglao to Guindulman. The second day will have 140km from Bellevue to Carmen, while the final day covers 160km from Bellevue to Maribojoc plus a surprise route to Tubigon.
