Cebu Cycling got another boost when the Mayor Gullas Cup returned to the cycling scene this year after a three-year absence.

A total of 41 riders in the Men's Category C answered the starting gun, including SRAM equipped 17-year old female junior cyclist Ana Patricia "Ica" Maximo (2nd from right) of YKKBikes.com

After 2 laps into the crit race, a two wo(man) breakaway was formed by Ica Maximo and Andrea Yu

Taking it easy and keeping it close.

The race course was closed to traffic making it safe and fun for the participants and spectators. Job well done to the Luray II officials headed by Junar Pamplona.

Saving the best for last. Getting ready for the last lap solo breakaway.

Ica Maximo (center), powered by YKKBikes, bagged the Women Open title. Completing the podium winners are Andrea Yu (2ndPlace) and Grezel Villarba (3rd Place). The other finishers are Daisy Batac, Sammy Scoff and Virgie Prajinog.

FORD BIKE OUT

The Ford Bike Out held in Cebu last Sunday July 31 was an amazing sight to see, with 500 triathletes and cyclists swarming the roads of Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Cebu and Talisay Cities as they recon the 90km bike route of the forthcoming international sporting spectacle 2016 Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championships.

Thank you Ford Cebu and Ironman 70.3 for this wonderful cycling event.
