IT WILL BE a do or die match today for the four semifinalists of the 10th CESAFI High School Football Championship at the University of San Carlos-Technological Center (USC-TC) in barangay Talamban, Cebu City.

Defending champions Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) tries to inch closer to retaining its title as it faces the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R). The other finals ticket will be contested by Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF).

The Greywolves, who topped the eliminations by winning all four of its assignments, blanked USJ-R, 10-0, in its last elimination game.

The Jaguars advanced to the semifinals on the strength of its single eliminations win against USC-North Campus.

DBTC never looked challenged enroute to the semifinals after posting a commanding 18-0 win against USC-NC in its opening match, followed with a 4-1 edging of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and 10-1 rout of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) before blanking the Jaguars.

SHS-AdC finished the elimination round with three wins. Its only lose came at the hands of DBTC.

USPF, on the other hand, managed to finish the round at third place with six points after winning against the Jaguars, 4-0, and the Warriors, 5-0.
